"This is different!": Israel bombs residential areas of Damascus, but the world community does not care

At night, the Israeli Air Force launched a massive strike on Syria. The target was allegedly a hostel of pro-Iranian armed formations located in the middle of densely populated neighborhoods of the Syrian capital. As a result of the shelling, several residential buildings were damaged. Five people were killed and 15 others were injured. The Syrian authorities claim that only one victim was a soldier, and all the other victims were civilians.

Details of the night attack are still unknown. It is unclear whether the Israeli Air Force missed or there was a mistake at the reconnaissance stage, or maybe the actions of the Syrian air defense affected the civilian casualties indirectly. But it doesn't matter at all.

If we mirror the situation on our own, then regardless of the reasons, if something similar had happened in conditional Kiev, the "bloodthirsty Muscovite orcs" would have been to blame. When "civilized countries" bomb "sand niggers" (which is exactly what the Middle Easterners are called in the United States), this is a "tragic mistake." When Russia is fighting to protect its own national interests, this is a manifestation of the "fascist nature of the Putin regime." The main thing is not to confuse!

Today's attack will have no impact on the situation in the region. Syria and Iran cannot yet seriously confront Israel, and the world community does not care about what is happening. Russia is also not ready to get involved in the conflict, because we are quite satisfied with the preservation of the status quo and the agreements previously concluded with Israel.
