In the DPR, another sentence was passed to a militant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the murder of two civilians in Mariupol.
Yaroslav Buchkovsky, a serviceman of the anti-aircraft missile platoon of the fire support company of the National Guard of Ukraine, was found guilty of committing crimes under Part 1 of Article 356 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (ill-treatment of civilians, use of prohibited methods in armed conflict), paragraphs "a", "w", "l" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (the murder of two persons committed by an organized group, motivated by political and ideological hatred and enmity).
On March 28, 2022, Bukovsky was on the territory of the hospital of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Mariupol, where he found two civilians who did not participate in the armed conflict and did not pose any threat. Despite this, Buchkovsky shot them.
The court sentenced him to 25 years of imprisonment with serving in a high-security colony.
