Cat litter is an object used by cats raised by the owner to bury feces and urine. It has good water absorption. It is usually used together with the litter basin (or cat toilet). An appropriate amount of litter is poured into the litter basin. Trained cats will enter the litter basin and put cat feces on it when they need to excrete.
The most important progress in cat culture is the use of cat litter. In the early days, cat litter was mainly made of non condensed cat litter, which was mainly used to collect cat feces. However, with the continuous progress of cat litter technology, people are not limited to such simple storage, so there is a constant emergence of condensed sand, wood sand, crystal sand, bentonite sand and so on.
Generally, cat litter is made into small particles of pulp to simulate sand and provide water absorption. Some particles also use physical desiccants such as silica gel. Generally, chemical products such as antibacterial agents/deodorants/preservatives will be added, and cat litter will coagulate into blocks when encountering water. Although it is easy to clean, it is recommended to use a special drain shovel. Most litter cats will touch their feet and take them to other places after stepping on them, so please clean them regularly.
